Bhopal: The animal husbandry department of Madhya Pradesh has described the viral news of spread of corona virus infection in some poultry farms in the state as completely misleading and baseless. Apart from this, the government has also clarified that the consumption of poultry products is completely safe. An official of Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Department said on Saturday, “There is no threat of any kind to poultry farms and poultry products due to corona virus infection. Consumption of poultry products is completely safe. ”
He said, “Director Animal Husbandry R. K. Citing the order issued by the Department of Health in this regard, Rokade denied the viral news of corona virus in the poultry farm. ” Rokade said that a letter has also been written by the Joint Secretary, Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, to the Secretaries of the Animal Husbandry Department in this regard. He said, “The viral news of corona virus in poultry farming is completely misleading and baseless.”
Rocade said that no guidelines or warning letters have been issued by the Health Department in its letter regarding the use of poultry or the quick closure of poultry farms. He said that no sample of poultry was taken by the department in Bhopal, Gwalior, Dewas, Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Badnagar, Sehore, Barwani and Mhow as mentioned in the viral news. Rocade said that the use of poultry products is completely safe, yet there is no sign of any corona infection.
