New Delhi: With the resumption of the Delhi Metro service, there will be a drastic reduction in the number of entrances to the station to ensure compliance with social distance norms during Covid-19. Sources gave this information on Thursday. Delhi Metro service has been closed since March 22 after the public curfew was imposed in the wake of the Coronavirus epidemic.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday said that whenever the government directs, we are fully ready to start operations. A source said, “DMRC has 671 entrances to 242 stations spread over 10 lines. Whenever the Metro service starts, only 257 gates are planned to be played to ensure compliance with the Covid-19 security norms. ”
