The Nexon EV of Tata Motors, which is making a splash in the electric car world, will now be seen in a new look and new avatar. The company is going to launch the long-range version of the Nexon EV on May 11. The new Nexon EV will get a bigger battery pack, with the help of which its range can reach up to 400 km.

The battery pack of the 2022 Tata Nexon EV will now be 10 kW-r more than before. The new vehicle will now get a 40 kW-R battery pack. The battery pack of the current model is of 30.2kWh capacity. Experts say that due to the large battery pack, its boot space can be reduced.

More powerful than ever
A more powerful 6.6kW AC charger can also be given along with a larger battery pack in the Tata Nexon EV Facelift. With the help of this, you will be able to charge the car even at home. It is being claimed that this charger will fully charge the battery in 5 hours. In the new update of the EV, its range can go up to 400 km. The current model has a 3.3kW AC charger, which takes around 10 hours to charge the battery.

Advanced Safety Features
The Nexon EV 2022 will see many advanced features including ventilated seats, an air purifier, cruise control, an electronic stability program (ESP), and park mode. To give a new look to this vehicle, it has been fitted with 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels. The new model is going to get many safety features including Electronic Workforce Distribution (EBD) with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), ISOFIX seats for child safety, two airbags in the front, and corner stability control.

Tata’s new electric SUV can get the signature styling of Tata’s bumper and newly designed projector lamps with LED Daytime Running Lights-DRL.

What could be the price
The price of Tata Nexon EV Facelift 2022 could be Rs 3-4 lakh more than the current model. The new Nexon EV will compete with electric SUVs like Hyundai’s Kona Electric and MG’s ZS EV.
