Nepal’s PM again teases ‘real Ayodhya’, instructions to build magnificent Ram temple

Kathmandu: The Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli has once again chanted the ‘real Ayodhya’. Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has once again claimed that Lord Ram’s birthplace in Chitwan district in Nepal. In the same district, there is the Madi municipality area, whose name is Ayodhyapuri. On Saturday, Oli held a phone conversation with the officials of the region. He was ordered to install statues of Ram, Lakshmana, and mother Sita. Oli ordered the officers to project and promote Ayodhyapuri as the real Ayodhya. Prime Minister Oli has also instructed the local representatives of Thori and Madi to prepare a plan for constructing a grand temple.

According to the Nepalese newspaper ‘The Himalayan Times’, Oli interacted with officials and leaders of Madi and Chitwan on phone for two hours. He was also called to Kathmandu for further talks. Oli said, ‘I believe that Lord Ram was born in Ayodhyapuri, Nepal. Not in Ayodhya, India. I have proof that will prove that Lord Ram was born in Nepal. Chitwan district MP Dil Kumari Rawal said, ‘PM Oli has said that work with full force for the protection of the areas around Ayodhyapuri. Also asked to dig Ayodhyapuri to gather evidence. Along with this, ordered the help of local people to promote Ayodhyapuri and preserve the historical evidence there.

Oli’s statement strongly condemned
In a controversial comment a few days ago, Oli said that Lord Ram was born in Thori near Birganj and the real Ayodhya is in Nepal. Top leaders of various political parties in Nepal strongly condemned Oli’s remarks and termed it as ‘pointless and unfair’. He demanded Oli to withdraw his controversial statement. The Foreign Ministry made it clear in its statement that the Prime Minister did not intend to hurt anyone’s feelings. It was emphasized in the statement that his comment was ‘not to debate the importance of Ayodhya and its cultural values’. Earlier, former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai tweeted, ‘Oli’s statement has crossed all limits. Extremism only creates trouble.
