Mumbai: Navratri festival is going on but this time it is not looking as bright as every year. Due to Corona, the Maharashtra government appealed to the people to donate blood and set up health camps during Navratri instead of organizing Dandiya. In such a situation, crowds of people are not seen in the Garba Pandal, while on the other hand, a video is going very viral on social media in which patients and doctors are seen playing Garba together at the COVID Center.

In one of the viral videos, several patients of the Covid-19 women’s ward are seen wearing masks and chanting a movie song with health personnel wearing PPE kits. So some patients are sitting on the bed and enjoying watching the Garba. According to some posts on social media, this video belongs to the Covid-19 center of Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika in Goregaon.
Regarding this video, BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said that the video with Garba presentation belongs to BMC’s Covid-19 center but the dean of the center has told him that he did not organize it. Chahal said that the dean of the center also told him that the patients were celebrating with the health workers themselves and they were feeling happy and well.
