In many districts of UP, an outbreak of ‘mysterious fever’ has increased in children for the last one week. According to media reports, the affected districts include the names of the capital Lucknow, Agra, Mathura, Mainpuri, Etah, Kasganj, and Firozabad. Firozabad’s Kaushalyanagar has the highest number of people suffering from fever. Most of the victims are children. It is being told that 3 adults have died so far, while the number of children who died has reached 50. Other localities of Firozabad affected by fever are Biharipuram, Kishan Nagar, Asafabad, Jain Nagar, Satyanagar Tapa, and Sudamanagar. Two days ago, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had visited Sudamanagar and directed the officials to make all possible arrangements for the treatment of sick people, taking special care of cleanliness.
According to the doctor, 32 children died in Firozabad
According to media reports, Firozabad’s senior health officer Dr. Neeta Kulshrestha says that patients, especially children, are dying very fast in hospitals. Due to this disease, more than 100 children are coming to Lucknow every day for treatment in different hospitals. The area most affected by this disease is Faizullaganj. On Friday, 20 children here have come under the grip of viral fever. More than 30 children are coming daily to Balrampur Hospital, 30 to 40 cases are coming daily in Civil Hospital. More than 50 cases are coming to Lokbandhu Hospital every day. In the OPDs of other hospitals including Balrampur, Civil, Lohia, Rani Laxmibai, Bhaurao Deoras, the process of coming to the patients of fever is also going on.
The investigation team from the center reached Firozabad
The central government team has come on a visit to Firozabad to investigate the cause of the death of children after fever in Firozabad and Mathura. A team of 5 experts from the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and the National Vector Borne Disease Control Program (NVBCDP) is taking various samples in Firozabad. Samples are being collected from the last 24 hours. Only after a thorough examination of these samples can it be said that why such a large number of children died.

Dengue cases increased in the state
The number of dengue patients in the state has gone up to 587. According to the data of September 2, 44 new cases have been reported in the state. Firozabad has the highest number of 38 new dengue cases. There have been 107 in Mathura, 87 in Firozabad, 84 in Lucknow, 24 in Kanpur, 69 in Varanasi, and 39 in Prayagraj. Dengue cases have been reported in all 72 districts except Kaushambi, Jalaun, and Bareilly. Let us inform you that till September 3, a total of 50 people have died of fever in Firozabad.
