
Tehran: The assassination of top Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh has been reported. According to unofficial sources, the incident took place near Tehran. Top Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh Mahabadi, who holds a key position in the country’s nuclear energy program, has been assassinated in Damavand, east of Tehran. According to several media reports, the scientist was killed on Friday, November 27, 2020, in the Aboard area of Damavand.

Fakhrijadeh was a professor of physics at Imam Hussein University, a senior scientist in the Iranian Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.
