
Kota(Rajasthan): In the third Mukundra Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan, there has been no trace of tiger MT-1 and tigress MT-4 for more than 15 days. For the last 3 days, Chief Wildlife Warden Arindam Tomar has camped in Mukundara Tiger Reserve. Due to not being able to find any clue and no evidence of tiger-tigress, the concern of the forest department is constantly increasing. In such a situation, now the Chief Wildlife Warden Arindam has announced to reward the villagers who reveal the address of the MT-4 tigress.

The tigress MT-4 is roaming in the open area of the reserve
According to the information, the missing tigress is wandering in the open area of the MT-4 reserve, while the tiger is wandering in an enclosure of 82 square kilometers in the MT-1 Pass range. The forest department has kept the staff of all six ranges of the Tiger Reserve and 5 expert trackers of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve on track to find the tiger-tigress. Trap cameras are installed in many places. The help of a drone camera is also being taken to search for tigers.
Tiger Tracking Report Reviewed
According to Bijo Joy, Deputy Forest Conservator of Mukundra Tiger Reserve, he along with Chief Wildlife Warden Arindam Tomar and Mukundara’s Field Director SR Yadav inspected the passages of Mukundara and Encloser of Gagaron Range, Masalpura and Narayanpura forest areas. Trekking was affected due to heavy rains on Thursday. A complete fencing check of the enclosure area was carried out. Security arrangements were found to be adequate in the damaged fencing at 4 locations. Mukundara’s tiger tracking report was reviewed, but tigers and tigers have not been detected so far.
The reward will be given for providing strong evidence
The investigation has so far revealed that in the year 2019 August, direct sighting camera trap evidence of tiger MT-1 and tigress MT-4 was found after 24 days and 28 days. Garden Conservator Joy said that the Chief Wildlife Warden Arindam Tomar has directed the monitoring team to undertake intensive tracking and other measures. Staff was directed to be rewarded by local villagers for giving strong evidence about tigress MT-4.
