MP CM’s first task to his cabinet: Prepare the roadmap for self-reliant MP

Bhopal: The first meeting of Shivraj Singh Chauhan cabinet in Madhya Pradesh took place on Monday afternoon after the division of ministers’ portfolios. Along with congratulating the ministers for their portfolios, CM Chauhan has given them the task of preparing a roadmap of self-sufficient Madhya Pradesh for their ministry by the end of July. The CM also gave instructions to the ministers for frequent field visits and departmental reviews.

Many important decisions were also taken in the mp cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. The CM instructed the ministers to prepare the roadmap of their respective departments for self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. Ministers will have to prepare this roadmap by the end of this month. Chauhan said that to fulfill the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self-reliant India, the goal of the self-reliant MP will have to be achieved.

The CM said that the minister should review the department once a week and visit the area at least four days. On getting the charge of the districts, give two days time there and keep an eye on the development works. Shivraj also asked all the ministers to keep touring their area and keep in touch with the people continuously.

This cabinet meeting has been held on Monday after postponing several times. After the swearing in of new ministers on 2 July, CM Chauhan and BJP’s central leadership were embroiled in the division of departments. Jyotiraditya Scindia was adamant on important portfolios for his supporting ministers and could not agree on this.
