New Delhi: The number of patients infected with Coronavirus in the country has broken all records to date. On Thursday, the number of corona patients reached a record of 96 thousand. With the rapidly increasing number of infected patients, it seems that soon this figure will cross 1 lakh in a day. Talking about the last 24 hours, 96 thousand 551 new cases of Corona have been reported, while a record of 1209 people has lost their lives. After the arrival of new cases, the number of corona infected patients in the country has been 45 lakh 62 thousand 414.
According to the Health Ministry, there are 9 lakh 43 thousand 480 active cases of corona in the country, while 76 thousand 271 patients have died due to corona infection. At the same time, it is a matter of relief that 35 lakh 42 thousand 663 people have recovered so far. According to ICMR, 11,63,542 corona checks have been done in the country within the last 24 hours, so far 5,40,97,975 people have been corona examined. The ICMR has said that the corona examination makes it easy to locate patients and they recover quickly.
In the midst of growing cases of the corona, the Serum Institute of India in Pune has stopped the trial of the Corona vaccine of Oxford and AstraZeneca. In relation to the vaccine withholding, the Drug Controller General of India has asked the Serum Institute to stop the trial and issued a show-cause notice.
23,446 new cases of Corona surfaced in Maharashtra
The total number of infected people has increased to 9,90,795 after 23,446 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Maharashtra on Thursday. On Wednesday, 23,816 people have also recovered in the state. Apart from this, after the death of 448 patients, the number of dead has increased to 28,282. After the death of 38 patients in Mumbai, the number of dead has reached 8,023. Today, the total number of people who have recovered after recovering from infection of 14,253 patients has reached 7,00,715. The recovery rate of patients in the state is 70.72 percent.
Delhi has the highest number of 4308 cases in a day
On Thursday, Coronavirus infection was found in maximum of 4,308 people in one day in the capital of the country and 28 infected people died. More than 58,000 samples have been tested in the city during the last 24 hours. For the first time, more than 4300 cases have been reported in the state. According to the Delhi government’s health department, the total number of cases in Delhi has reached 2,05,482 while the death toll has reached 4,666. 58,340 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.
1640 new cases of corona infection in Rajasthan
In Rajasthan, the death toll from Corona virus infection increased to 1192 by Thursday night, while a record 1640 new cases have been reported in the state. There have been 14 more deaths due to infection in the state in the last 24 hours, due to which the number of deaths has now increased to 1192. So far 294 people have died due to corona virus infection in Jaipur, 116 in Jodhpur, 87 in Bikaner, 86 in Kota, 81 in Ajmer and 73 in Bharatpur. With this, a record 1640 new cases of infection have been reported, bringing the total number of people infected with this deadly virus in the state to 97376, of which 15702 patients are under treatment.
10,175 new cases of corona in Andhra Pradesh
On Thursday, 10,175 new cases of the corona were reported in Andhra Pradesh, after which the number of infected people reached 5.37 lakh. According to the state government’s health department, in the last 24 hours, 10,040 patients were discharged from the hospital after becoming free of infection while 68 patients died due to this deadly virus. The rate of recovery from infection in the state has improved to 81.02 percent while the death rate has come down to 0.87 percent.
