Indore: A big accident happened on Ram Navami in Indore. In Patel Nagar near Sneh Nagar, more than 25 people fell into the stepwell due to the collapse of the roof above the stepwell built on the premises of Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple. So far four people have been pulled out of the stepwell and immediately rushed to the hospital.
This created chaos in the area. Due to the narrow streets, there is difficulty in carrying out relief work. There is also a problem with getting an ambulance and 108 vehicles. Some people were thrown out somehow. Relatives of those who fell are infuriated.
The administration team including Police Commissioner, Collector, and corporation reached here as soon as the information was received. All MIC members including Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava left the meeting for the accident site. Along with this, many politicians also reached. Divers were also called for relief work.

A resident of Sneh Nagar told that a temple was built illegally near the stepwell and all the havan rituals there were performed at the stepwell. Regional leaders also had the support this illegal construction. Complaints about this illegal construction had been made many times before, but no action was taken.
