Washington: Coronavirus has once again wreaked havoc in America. In the US, there have been record cases of corona in one day, while the number of deaths due to infection is also increasing continuously. Meanwhile, the American Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reduced the time period quarantined during corona infection, the move has come under question.
Let us know that America is the most affected country in the world by corona infection. Corona has returned once again after the decrease in new cases in the last few months and more than 2.10 lakh new Corona cases have been registered in the last 24 hours on Thursday. During this time, 2,907 people have died due to Corona. The second wave of Corona virus is being feared in America. America, India and Brazil are the countries most affected by the Corona epidemic.
In the US, total cases of corona infection have reached close to 14 million, while so far more than 2.73 lakh people have lost their lives due to the virus. The number of active cases is more than 83 lakhs. The total number of corona infections in India has crossed 95 million. In India, 1.38 lakh people have lost their lives due to the virus. However, it is a matter of relief that till now more than 89 lakh people have managed to emerge from the infection. At the same time, coronation treatment of 4.22 lakh people is going on in the country.
CDC’s move incomprehensible
The American Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revised its guidelines regarding the time period quarantined during a corona infection. The CDC has reduced the quarantine period in the US from 14 days to 10 days. However, it will depend on the outcome and symptoms of the patient’s examination. According to the report, if a patient does not have any symptoms, then he will need to stay in quarantine for only 10 days without a test. If the test report is negative, the time period will be reduced to seven days. However, many experts have questioned the CDC’s order at such a time.
Robert Redfield, director of the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention Center, has said that December, January and February are the most difficult times in the history of American health services. With the increasing patients, the preparation of vaccine in America has also started rapidly. Mansef Slau, Chief Advisor of Operation Warp Speed, has said that 100 million Americans will be vaccinated by February. America has said that if the vaccine of Pfizer and Moderna is approved by the Food and Drug Administration of America, by December, 40 million Americans will get the vaccine dose.
