Mysuru: Once again there was a breach in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tuck (Karnataka). A woman threw a phone at the PM during his roadshow in Mysuru on Sunday. The phone fell about five feet away from PM Modi. The video of this entire incident has gone viral on social media.
In the viral video, it can be seen that the phone is thrown towards the vehicle of Prime Minister Modi. However, the Prime Minister is completely safe. Told that the woman who threw the phone is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker.
According to the police, a woman worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) dropped her phone in excitement during the roadshow, though she did not do so with any malice. The phone fell down on the bonnet of the car. However, the Prime Minister noticed it and pointed out the object to the accompanying Special Protection Group (SPG) officials.
Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Alok Kumar said the Prime Minister was under the security cover of the SPG. The lady (whose phone fell on the PM’s vehicle) was a BJP worker. The SPG men later returned the phone to him.
It was thrown in a fit of excitement and the woman had no ill intention, he said. However, we are trying to trace the woman.
The incident took place when Mysuru-Kodagu MP Prathap Simha and former ministers K. S. Eshwarappa and S. A. Along with Ramdas, Prime Minister Modi was waving to the people gathered in large numbers on both sides of the road.
