The top-of-the-line non-AMG model is the EQE 500 4Matic, which boasts 408 bhp and 858 Nm of torque and a remarkable WLTP range of up to 521 km. The EQE 350 4Matic and EQE 500 4Matic both use dual-motor, all-wheel drive systems.

For those who seek more thrill and excitement, the AMG variants are the ones to look out for. The EQE 43 4Matic and EQE 53 4Matic+ both have dual-motor, all-wheel drive systems as well. The EQE 43 produces 476 bhp and 858 Nm of torque and has a WLTP range of up to 488 km. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 kph.

EQE SUV: FEATURES
The interior of the EQE SUV is loaded with features, including the stunning ‘Hyperscreen’ layout that consists of a massive 1,410mm-wide panel with up to three individual displays. Alternatively, a conventional setup that resembles the S-Class has a vertical touchscreen that blends smoothly into the dashboard. The advanced MBUX operating system, which has an inbuilt SIM card for over-the-air software updates and an intuitive “Hey Mercedes” voice command for conversational control, connects seamlessly with these displays.

EQE SUV: EXPECTED PRICE & RIVALS
The Mercedes EQE will face stiff competition in the Indian market from vehicles like the BMW iX, which starts at Rs. 1.21 crore, and the Audi Q8 e-tron SUV, which is priced between Rs. 1.14 crore and Rs. 1.26 crore (all prices ex-showroom). It is unclear whether the EQE SUV will be imported or locally produced as Mercedes locally assembles the EQS 580 while importing the EQS 53 4Matic and EQB SUVs as CBUs.’
