Meerut: By now you may have seen potato chips and papads drying on the roof, but today we show you a picture which will make you press your finger under your teeth. Yes, this picture is of Meerut, where Illegal Fircrackers are being dried on rooftops for sale on Diwali. More than a quintal of these home-made bombs were being dried on the roof so that when they were boiled on Diwali, the explosion would be strong. Police have also arrested 6 women in this case.

In fact, after an explosion in a house in Meerut, the police have launched a campaign against the maker of the illegal cracker. Due to which a raid was carried out on the desi cracker factory in Meerut. Raids were carried out on cracker factories in Mawana, Sardhana, Parikshitgarh and Ravana areas of Meerut police station, from where crackers worth lakhs of rupees were recovered. Some firecrackers have been smuggled in from Haryana and other states. But there is a picture of Mawana which shocked even the police. In a closed house, the women had run a cottage industry making crackers.

The factory was running in a closed house
A closed house was turned into a firecracker factory to hide from the eyes of the police and firecrackers were placed on its roofs to dry. These crackers are made by mixing gunpowder, paint, glass as well as many such harmful substances. Surprisingly, this ammunition is so dangerous that if there is an explosion, many houses in the vicinity will be demolished. But in the greed of making profits by being the most careless, it forces these people to do this illegal maze.

6 women arrested
Police have raided various places and arrested many people. Talk about Mawana police station area of Meerut, then 6 women have also been arrested here. Rizwan, the owner of the cracker factory, is still absconding. Police seized firecrackers worth lakhs of rupees. But it is also surprising that only at the time of Diwali, the police miss the action on cracker factories. Throughout the year, crackers are made in these cracker factories, playing with people’s lives. In Meerut and surrounding districts, these crackers are also sold at huge profits. But perhaps only after the accident does the police wake up and after the orders of higher authorities, the action is taken against such desi cracker factories.
