New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) introduced the New Gen Brezza Compact SUV and Grand Vitara Midsize SUV last year. Both these cars have been instrumental in increasing the market share of the brand in the SUV market.

The range will be further expanded in 2023 with the arrival of the Franks compact coupe SUV and the five-door Jimny lifestyle off-road SUV. The largest car manufacturer in the country is now working on a 7-seater variant of the Grand Vitara.

Available Models of the Urban Cruiser Hyrider
Y17 will probably be exported from India to global markets. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara shares a lot in common with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider as both share the Global C platform and are powered by either the 1.5-liter four-cylinder K15C mild-hybrid petrol or the 1.5-liter TNGA Atkinson Cycle mild-hybrid. The Grand Vitara and Toyota Highrider have been moved out of Toyota’s production facility in Bidadi, Karnataka, manufacturing of this 7-seater will be done at Maruti Suzuki’s new factory in Kharkhoda. The plant will be operational by 2025 and will be capable of producing 1.2 lakh units of the three-row Grand Vitara every year.

It has an annual production capacity of 2.5 lakh units and together with the other two existing plants, MSIL will produce two million cars per year by 2028. Adjust the third row of seats. It may get minor design modifications to differentiate itself from the regular model. Maruti Suzuki is also planning to launch a badge-engineered model of the Toyota Innova Hycross in India in the coming months.
