Maruti launches Fronx CNG, company claim mileage of 28 km

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki has launched the Fronx CNG in the country. It has been brought to India at a price of Rs 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the launch of Fronx CNG, it has become the 15th CNG model of the company. The factory-fitted CNG option is offered in two trim levels – Sigma and Delta.

The Fronx CNG is powered by a 1.2-liter K-series petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. This engine generates 76 Bhp power and 98.5 Nm. It is being claimed that the Fronx CNG can deliver a mileage of 28.51 km/kg. Customers willing to buy Fronx CNG can also buy it under a subscription plan. For this, you can choose subscription plans starting from Rs 23,248 per month.

Sigma CNG – Rs 8.41 lakh

Delta CNG – Rs 9.27 lakh

Fronx CNG Features
The features list includes a 9-inch infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, head-up display, cruise control, auto climate control, six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), hill-hold assist, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat anchors and ABS with EBD are included. Franks is a 5-seater crossover car. It gets 308 liters of boot space.

As of now, there is no car to directly compete with the Frox but it can take on the likes of sub-compact SUVs like Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Xtor.
