New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki Frunks has become a super hit in the market as soon as it is launched. The company launched this car in the last week of April 2023 and this SUV has cast a spell on people within a month. If we look at the sales of May 2023, it has sold 9,863 units in just one month. This clearly shows that Fronx has received an overwhelming response from customers. Not only this, due to the high demand for the Fronxs at the showrooms, the waiting period has crossed 10 weeks i.e. more than 2 months.

Due to the tremendous demand, the Frons has left behind the company’s own 7 models, Grand Vitara, Alto, Celerio, S-Presso, XL6, Ertiga, and Ciaz. Franks was the 8th best-selling model of the company. It can be inferred from this that in the coming days, Frox can compete with cars like Dzire and Brezza.

Engine and Performance
The Frons is offered with two engine options, including a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology (100PS/148Nm) and a 1.2-liter Dualjet petrol unit (90PS/113Nm) sourced from the Baleno. The first engine has been given the option of a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the second engine has the option of a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox.

Fronx features
In terms of features, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx gets features like a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, cruise control, auto climate control, and wireless phone charging. In terms of safety, it gets features like six airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), a hill-hold assist, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX anchors, and ABS with EBD. The Fronx does not have any direct rivals but it rivals the likes of Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, and the Nissan Magnite.
