New Delhi: There is great relief news for railway passengers. In this time of Coronavirus Pandemic, the railway is going to run many special trains to make the movement of passengers easier. Indian Railways is going to run many special trains for passengers from today (10 April). These include the introduction of four Shatabadi Special trains and a Duranto Special train and a Humsafar Special. Northern Railway is preparing to resume the services of Shatabdi Express, Duronto Express, and Humsafar trains from 10 April ie tomorrow. It was announced by Union Minister Piyush Goyal. All the guidelines of Covid-19 will be followed during the journey.
Passengers with confirmed tickets will be able to travel
Passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to travel in these trains. Goyal said that four Shatabdi Express and one pair Humsafar and Duronto will start services from April 10 each. These include New Delhi-Amritsar (Daily), New Delhi-Amritsar (Weekly), Chandigarh-Delhi (6 days a week), New Delhi-Daurai (Daily). Apart from this, Duronto Special Sarai Rohilla will run between Delhi-Jammu Tawi three days a week. Please tell that IRCTC has already started the services of 71 unreserved trains from April 5.
These are the complete list of route and time table
- 02013/14 New Delhi to Amritsar Shatabdi Express Special. The train will operate daily. This train will depart from New Delhi daily from tomorrow at 16.30 pm and reach Amritsar at 22.30 pm. At the same time, it will open from Amritsar at 4.55 am and will reach New Delhi at 11.02 am. This train will run till further notice.
- 04051/52 New Delhi to Daurai Shatabdi Express Special. The train will operate daily. This train will run from New Delhi at 6.10 am and will arrive at 13.15 am. Similarly, the train from Daurai will leave at 15.15 and reach New Delhi at 22.40. The train will halt at Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Rewari, Alwar Jn, Bandikui Jn, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Jaipur, Kishangarh, and Ajmer Junction during the journey. It will have an executive AC chair car and an AC chair car.
- 04053/54 New Delhi to Amritsar Shatabdi Express Special. The train will operate on Thursday only. Train number 04053/04054 New Delhi-Amritsar-New Delhi Shatabdi Special Express will start every Thursday from April 15 at 7:20 am and reach Amritsar at 1:30 pm on the same day. In the return direction, train number 04054 Amritsar-New Delhi Shatabdi will open at 16.50 hrs and will reach Delhi at 22.50 hrs.
- 02046/45 Chandigarh to New Delhi Shatabdi Express Special. The train will operate daily except on Wednesday.
- 02265/66 Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Jammu Tawi Duronto Express Special. The train will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Sunday or Wednesday, and Saturday. Train number 02265 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jammuut V Duronto Express Special will run from Delhi Sarai Rohilla every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday at 22.20 hrs on April 11 and reach Jammu Tawi at 7:15 am the next day. In return, from April 12, 02266 will run from Jammu Tawi every Wednesday, Saturday, and Monday at 19:15 and will reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 3.55 pm. The train will have first AC, AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, and slipper coaches.
