Mahindra is now preparing to launch a 5-door variant of its most popular SUV Thar. The company can showcase this variant only during the Auto Expo. Right now only 3 door variant of Thar is available in the market. It comes with petrol and diesel engines. Its price is between Rs 13.59 lakh to Rs 16.29 lakh ex-showroom.
It is being told that the company will not make any major changes in the engine of the new 5-door variant. Only the 2.0-liter M Stallion turbo petrol and 2.2-liter M Hawk turbo diesel engines will be seen in this as well. Talking about its petrol unit, it generates a power of 152 bhp and torque of 320 Nm. While diesel generates 132 bhp power and 320 Nm torque. The new 5-door will also get a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
More space and boot space
More space will be seen in the new Thar, as well as the problem of low boot space of Thar will also be solved in it. Although this too will be a 5 seater. Earlier the company had also started the discussion of 7 seaters but later it was put to an end.

On the other hand, if we talk about the new variant of Mahindra Thar, then its features will also be somewhat different. There is talk of a lot of changes in the interior.
