In this case on Saturday, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the restrictions applicable to deal with the increase in corona cases in the state can be extended even beyond May 1, given the situation.
He said, “We are taking stock of the situation. There have been some cases of violation of Section 144 of CrPC applicable to curb the spread of Covid-19. We can extend these restrictions from May 1, it will depend on the situation. A decision will be taken only after reviewing the results of these 15 days (when restrictions apply). ”
Meanwhile, amidst the growing Corona cases in Mumbai, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar has said that all the measures being taken by BMC to stop the corona speed in Mumbai are failing. Despite earlier Night Curfew, Weekend lockdown and now Mini Lockdown, the corona transition continues to grow rather than stop. The condition of Mumbai has become the most critical at this time and now the only option left is to install complete lockdown in Mumbai.
