
Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh (MP), the scope of lockdown has been extended on Sunday. Now on Sunday there will be lockdown in 5 more cities of the state. This decision was taken in the corona review meeting held in Bhopal in the presence of CM Shivraj. Now Sundays will also be locked down in Vidisha, Ujjain, Gwalior, Narsinghpur, Sonsar. Including these, now 12 cities of the state will be locked down on Sunday.
CM’s appeal
CM Shivraj appealed to the people to celebrate the festival by staying at home to avoid the second wave of Corona. In the districts where there are more than 20 cases of corona, Holika Dahan and Shab-e Baaraat should be celebrated symbolically. Crowd gathering will not be allowed at any of these places.

Curfew from 9 pm on Saturday night
Earlier, the government had decided that curfew in Madhya Pradesh would be imposed from 9 am on Saturday night. In the morning, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave the signal to carry forward the lockdown on Sunday. He said that it is time for emergency, dignity is necessary. I appeal to everyone to celebrate the festival at home. If necessary, I will follow the emergency religion.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the condition of metros is deteriorating due to Corona. It is a question of people’s life. It is our responsibility to take all possible steps. Our strategy is 3 ways. Preventing infection first. The second is to arrange a bed in the hospital, the third is to have rapid vaccinations.
12 city lockdown
The government first did a lockdown in Indore, Jabalpur and Bhopal on Sunday, March 21 last week. After that, its scope was increased to Betul, Chhindwara, Ratlam and Khargone were also included in the Sunday lockdown. Today, 5 new cities have been added to it.
Corona update
Today one day figure of Corona has crossed 2000 in Madhya Pradesh. Today, 2091 Corona positive cases were recorded. Including 425 new cases in Bhopal, 612 in Indore and 156 new cases in Jabalpur, 12038 active cases of corona have been made in MP. The positivity rate has also risen sharply to 7.3%.
