Batting first, England scored 200 runs in 19.5 overs, in response to which Pakistan’s team could manage only 155 for nine wickets. Both England leg-spinners Adil Rashid (2 for 30) and Matt Parkinson (1 for 25) played a key role in containing Pakistan. He also got good support from off-spinner Moeen Ali, who took two wickets for 32 runs in three overs. Fast bowler Saqib Mahmood took three wickets for 33 runs. However, the attraction of this match was the six of Liam Livingstone.

In the last T20 match, Livingstone made the record for the fastest century for England. Livingstone, who was in tremendous form, played a stellar inning in the second match as well. Livingstone hit two fours and three lofty sixes in his 38-run knock. One of his six was 122 meters long and the ball fell across the stadium. Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf came to bowl the 16th over of the match. On his very first ball, Livingstone hit such a long six standing in front of the front that the ball went through the top of the third floor of the Emerald Stadium and fell into the rugby field.
