New Delhi: England managed to level the three-match series 1-1 by registering a 45-run win over Pakistan in the second T20I. Batting first, England scored 200 runs in 19.5 overs, in response to which Pakistan’s team could manage only 155 for nine wickets. Both England leg-spinners Adil Rashid (2 for 30) and Matt Parkinson (1 for 25) played a key role in containing Pakistan. He also got good support from off-spinner Moeen Ali, who took two wickets for 32 runs in three overs. Fast bowler Saqib Mahmood took three wickets for 33 runs. However, the attraction of this match was the six of Liam Livingstone.
In the last T20 match, Livingstone made the record for the fastest century for England. Livingstone, who was in tremendous form, played a stellar inning in the second match as well. Livingstone hit two fours and three lofty sixes in his 38-run knock. One of his six was 122 meters long and the ball fell across the stadium. Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf came to bowl the 16th over of the match. On his very first ball, Livingstone hit such a long six standing in front of the front that the ball went through the top of the third floor of the Emerald Stadium and fell into the rugby field.

Australian batsman Chris Lynn hit a 121 meter long six off Shaun Tait in the Big Bash League. New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson has hit a 120-meter six off Ishant Sharma’s ball against India. Yuvraj Singh, India’s star player, hit a 119 meter long six off Brett Lee in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2007.
Jos Buttler played the captaincy innings
Earlier, Jos Buttler, who was leading England in place of Eoin Morgan, scored 59 runs. His 39-ball innings included seven fours and two sixes. Apart from him, Liam Livingstone contributed 38 and Moeen Ali contributed 36 runs. For Pakistan, Mohammad Hasnain took three wickets but for this, he spent 51 runs. No batsman from Pakistan was able to convert a good start into a big score. For him, Mohammad Rizwan scored 37 and Shadab Khan scored an unbeaten 36 off 22 balls. The third T20 will be played in Manchester on Tuesday.
