Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Chadha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra and Vikrant Chhokar were arrested the next day.

The lawyer claimed that Aryan was on the cruise as a “VVIP guest” and that “a person associated with Bollywood wanted to add glamor to the cruise and hence Aryan was invited.” Advocate Maneshinde said, “I (Aryan) is not connected in any way with any other person onboard the cruise or other arrested accused. I have no relation with the organizers or other arrested accused.”
