After the manner in which this incident has been carried out, the intelligence agency has come into alert mode. Intelligence agencies have found the hand of CPI Maoist leader Namhala Keshava Rao alias Keshava Rao behind the attack in Bijapur. According to sources associated with the intelligence agency, Keshava Rao planned this entire attack, in which the infamous Maoist Hidma led to the execution in Bijapur.
About 400 Naxalites were involved in this attack by ambush the security forces. Actually, the security forces had planned a big operation against the Naxalites. In this campaign, a contingent of about 1500 soldiers was deployed. Despite this, our security forces suffered heavy losses. A senior official said that the Naxalites ambushed and surrounded the security personnel from three sides. He said that Naxalites bombarded bullets with light machine guns in this attack and used low intensity IEDs and this attack continued for several hours.

Keshava Rao is a resident of Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. 66-year-old Keshava Raju belongs to the Kinthali Kalinga caste. As usual, Naxalites have also carried out this incident in the face of a special attack that takes place between February and June. This attack is called Tactical Counter Offensive Campaign (TCOC). Similar attacks have taken place in the past, in which 76 soldiers have been martyred.

There are no leaves on the trees, due to which the Naxalites sitting at a far height keep looking at the movement of the soldiers easily. This is the reason that Naxalites who wait for big attacks all year carry out TCOC in February-June.
