Now Delhi’s consumers will be able to complain while sitting at home
The people of Delhi will no longer have to make rounds of the office to complain about the food and supplies department. Arvind Kejriwal said that the Delhi government has taken many steps in the last 5 years in the fields of education, health, electricity and water, which have been discussed all over the country and the world. In the same direction today, the consumer department has started a system of online complaints, this will also prove to be a milestone. Now people can complain about sitting at home.
All pending cases will be resolved soon
CM Arvind Kejriwal directed to expedite the disposal of 7 thousand cases pending in the State Commission and more than 8 thousand cases pending in the District Court. Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain, on behalf of the department, assured that he will leave no stone unturned to resolve and strengthen the disputes related to consumers in Delhi.
Delhi is the first state in the country to start this service
Arvind Kejriwal said on this occasion that Delhi is the first and only state in the country, where this facility is being started. Other states will also learn from Delhi and take steps in this direction. I am very happy that in the Consumer Courts, the system of complaining online is being started today.
