New Delhi: Sonu Sood recently met Karate Champion Amritpal Kaur. Amritpal has won many medals for India including gold in the South Asian Championships in the year 2019. Sharing a picture of their meeting on Instagram, Sonu revealed that he helped Amritpal Kaur two years ago. Amritpal then needed knee surgery. Sonu has been helping many people across the country since the Kovid-19 lockdown. His work is being appreciated all around.
Sharing before and after pictures of Amritpal Kaur’s surgery, Sonu wrote, “When you see the positive impact you make in the lives of others, it makes your life even more meaningful. I met Amritpal 2 years back when he was in urgent need of knee surgery.”
Sonu Sood further wrote, “She had big dreams but she could not do anything due to the circumstances. Helping him get there was one of the biggest honors of my life and today I have succeeded with this medal in his hand.” Sonu also told that she Amritpal Kaur will represent India in the next Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham.
Amritpal to represent India in Commonwealth Games
Sonu Sood further wrote, “All India Karate Champion Amritpal won the gold medal without giving a single score to the opponents and will represent India in the Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham soon. I am sure she will make all of us and the country proud.” Responding to Sonu’s words, Amritpal dedicated the gold medal to Sonu to help him through the bad phase of his life.

Describing Sonu Sood as ‘Savior’, in a post he said, “Met my Savior Sonu Sood sir, who has helped me 2 years back. I dedicate this gold of All India Karate Championship (National) to you sir. Thank you so much for being there for me. I wouldn’t have won this without your help.”
