New Delhi: Film actress Kangana Ranaut, who is in the news due to her statements, on Saturday expressed her desire to contest elections. She said that she wants to serve the people of Himachal Pradesh and for this, she is ready to go into politics. The actress also said that it would be a matter of pride for her if she gets a chance to work for the betterment of the people of her home state.
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who lives in Manali, said, “If the government wants my participation in politics, I will be fully prepared. It will be a matter of privilege for me to give an opportunity to serve the people of Himachal Pradesh. It is to be known that elections in Himachal Pradesh are on 12th November and the counting of votes will take place on 8th December.
Earlier this month, actress Kangana Ranaut said that she does not want to enter politics professionally, she has no such plans as she is focusing on her film career.

Responding to this she said, ‘If I come back on Twitter, then there will be a problem for me. There are many cases registered against me in different states. I am glad that I am not on Twitter.
