Bhopal: PCC chief Kamal Nath has accepted the defeat of the party as soon as the by-election trends and preliminary results for the 28 seats of Madhya Pradesh (MP) Assembly came out. But some other leaders, including former CM Digvijay Singh, have again questioned the credibility of EVM.
In the results of the by-elections held for 28 seats of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, the BJP has moved towards a landslide victory. Even the BJP, which needed 8 seats, probably did not expect such a huge success. These results were disappointing for the Congress. PCC chief and former CM Kamal Nath said that the decision of democracy is accepted. The decision of the people regarding 28 seats will be accepted. The results of some seats are yet to come and the party will analyze the results after that.
Look at every by-election result

Digvijay expressed apprehension on EVM
On the results of the by-election, Digvijay Singh said- Janata Congress is with the party. But the apprehensions of the Congress have come true with these results. Digvijay Singh, while raising EVM again, said that no developed country trusts EVM. The chip in the machine is not tamper-proof. He said that the defeat in Mandhata, Nepanagar, and Hatpiplia seats by thousands of votes is raising many questions. Digvijay Singh said that the reasons for the defeat of the party will be discussed in the meeting of the Congress MLAs tomorrow. The results of the by-elections will be reviewed in the meeting of the party MLAs. Digvijay Singh said that in these elections, attempts were made to buy the public but the public was not sold.
Bhuria also doubts EVM
Congress MLA Kantilal Bhuria’s statement has also come. He said- this is democracy. The decision of the people should be accepted by all. However, the counting of votes has not been completed yet. The situation will be clear only after the counting of votes is completed. Bhuria also questioned the EVM. He said that the EVM has been tampered with. EVM also went wrong in Bihar elections. Congress will complain to the Election Commission.
Tankha expressed surprise
Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha said that the results of the by-elections are beyond comprehension. He said- huge crowds were gathering in the Congress meetings. Where did those votes go? The party will seriously review it. Tankha said that the symptoms of the serious disease of democracy are coming to the fore. All these results will be assessed.
