New York: The American arm of Jaipur Foot has said that it will set up a state-level camp for a free prosthesis in Gujarat and hearing implements and wheelchairs will be distributed to PwDs. On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday, Jaipur Foot America President Prem Bhandari said that the camp will be held soon if the conditions are safe during the Covid-19.
He said the inauguration program would take place in Vadnagar, Modi’s birthplace and the camp would be held in Mehsana or Ahmedabad. Bhandari said that Jaipur Foot America has informed the Prime Minister’s Office about the plan to set up camp.
