Hyderabad: In a significant stride towards fostering entrepreneurial innovation, the Indian School of Business (ISB) has inaugurated the I-Venture Immersive (ivi) programme. This six-month, full-time, on-campus initiative is meticulously designed to nurture aspiring entrepreneurs, guiding them from the inception of ideas to the creation of scalable ventures.
Grand Inauguration Ceremony
The launch event was graced by Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Minister of State, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Alongside him were Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean of ISB, and Professor Bhagwan Chowdhry, Faculty Director of I-Venture @ ISB. They unveiled a state-of-the-art classroom, specifically designed for the ivi programme. This innovative space is set to be a hub for creative thinking and hands-on learning, fostering a collaborative environment for the participants.
Empowering Future Entrepreneurs
During his address, Shri Chaudhary lauded ISB’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent in India. He emphasized the diversity of the cohort, noting that over 40% of the participants are women. “This programme will empower aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality, further strengthening the country’s startup ecosystem,” he remarked.
A Transformative Experience
The I-Venture Immersive programme, described as ‘more than an incubator, more than a school,’ offers a comprehensive, immersive experience. Conducted full-time at ISB’s Hyderabad campus, it provides budding entrepreneurs with transformative support and funding opportunities to bring their innovative ideas to life. The founding class, consisting of 51 entrepreneurs (22 females and 29 males), officially commenced the programme on October 3, 2024.

The inaugural session also saw the presence of Mr. Saumya Kumar, Director of I-Venture @ ISB, along with various thought leaders and industry captains from the startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Their participation underscores the programme’s significance and the robust support network available to the participants.
This initiative by ISB marks a pivotal moment in the journey of aspiring entrepreneurs, providing them with the resources, mentorship, and environment needed to succeed in the competitive startup landscape.
