London: World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tredos Adnam Ghebreyesus has admitted in a private conversation with a European leader that the coronavirus was leaked from the Wuhan lab in China. According to the report in the Daily Mail, the head of WHO has said this during a conversation with a leader of Europe. He expressed the possibility that there may have been an accident in the Wuhan lab from where the virus spread. The WHO has always avoided publicly accepting the fact that the coronavirus leaked from the Wuhan lab in China.
The Director-General of WHO had publicly said a few days ago that it is not yet known where this virus originated and how it came to humans. It is very important to recognize the origin of the virus so that such epidemics can be avoided in the future. But morally it is our responsibility to find out its origin, he said. This responsibility is towards the people who get infected with corona, people who lost their lives due to infection, and their families.
