Seoul: North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has called for the execution of two people, a ban on fishing in the sea, and measures to protect against the Coronavirus and economic damage. Ordered the closure of the capital Pyongyang. This information was given by the intelligence agency of South Korea to its MPs on Friday.

The lawmakers told reporters after attending a private meeting of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) that the Kim government has ordered its diplomats abroad to refrain from doing anything that could provoke the United States. Newly elected President Joe Biden is concerned about the possible new stance on North Korea.

MP Ha Tai-kyung was quoted by NIS as saying that Kim was “very angry” about the epidemic and its economic impact and was taking “irrational steps”. He said NIS told lawmakers that North Korea hanged a high-profile money changer in Pyongyang last month. The man was found guilty of a falling exchange rate and hanged.

He quoted NIS as saying that North Korea had hanged a senior official in August for violating government rules banning goods imported from abroad. Both persons could not be identified. NIS also told lawmakers that North Korea also banned fishing and salt production to protect seawater from being infected with the virus. North Korea recently imposed lockdowns in Pyongyang and northern Zhangjiang province in response to the virus.
