Tehran: Iran on Saturday signed a 25-year cooperation agreement with China to improve its economy struggling with US sanctions. According to state TV news, the ‘Extensive Strategic Partnership’ agreement includes other cooperation including oil and mining, promotion of industrial activities, cooperation in transport and agriculture.
However, no detailed information about the agreement has been provided. The agreement was signed by Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
