Kabul: The Taliban is now going to officially include suicide squads in its army. The separatist group Taliban sees its rival Islamic State (ISIS) as its biggest threat since forming the government in Afghanistan and is calling the move a step taken for its own security.

Before coming to power last year, the Taliban have been using their suicide squads as a key weapon against US and Afghan forces for over 20 years. Taliban’s deputy spokesman Bilal Karimi says that until now this organization was scattered, he now wants to reform it by organizing it, so that Afghanistan’s defense can be ensured.

Karimi says his main target will now be the local branch of the Islamic State. Because after America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan in August, five major attacks were carried out when the Taliban came to power with the strength. Most of these attacks were carried out through suicide squads. Karimi says this special team will be used for special missions and will include martyrs.

Meanwhile, the Taliban regime has refused to allow Pakistan to erect a fence on the Durand Line. According to a media report, Taliban commander Mawlawi Sanaullah Sangeen told Afghanistan’s Tolo News on Wednesday that whatever Pakistan has done before, in any form, but now they will not allow any such work, there will be no fence of any kind here.
