Explosion at Harrisonburg Mall

Harrisonburg (United States): The reason for the large fire and explosion at a shopping center in Harrisonburg, Virginia is under investigation. At least five people were injured in Saturday’s incident. City spokesman Michelle Parks said that three people were taken to the hospital in the incident which occurred at around 8.30 am and two others were given first aid at the scene. According to the newspaper ‘News-Record’, this mall has a shop for products related to e-cigarettes.

Apart from this, there is also a shop of instruments and a recording studio. There are reports of damage to other structures as well. However Governor Ralph Northam tweeted that emergency personnel have been deployed in the area. He says that there has been a gas explosion in this area. The head of Harrisonburg’s fire department, Matt Tobia, told reporters that the reason behind the explosion is being investigated. Parks says the investigation may take several days. He said that there was no indication of any conspiracy in it.
