Beijing: Foreign Minister Wang Yi of China promised that his country would provide all possible help in India’s fight against the growing cases of Covid-19. He said that China is fast supplying anti-pandemic goods to India. In a letter to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Wang said, “The Chinese side condole and express deep sympathy for the challenges that India is facing.”
Chinese Ambassador to India Sun Weidong shared the letter on Twitter, stating, “The coronavirus is a common enemy of humanity and the international community needs to be united and coordinated.” The Chinese side supports the Indian government and its people in fighting the epidemic. “
Wang said that anti-pandemic products produced in China are rapidly entering India to help India in this pandemic. He said, “The Chinese side will continue to provide as much support and help as possible to India’s needs.” We are hopeful and confident that under the leadership of the Government of India, people will overcome this epidemic as soon as possible. ”
Wang’s letter comes at a time when the forces of the two countries are yet to return from the remaining tense areas of eastern Ladakh. The army of the two countries had retreated from the area of Pagong Lake in February.
