New Delhi: According to big news, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Wednesday decided to postpone the resumption of international flights from December 15. The DGCA has taken this step in view of the emergence of a new form of coronavirus ‘Omicron’.
In a circular issued by the DGCA on Wednesday, it said, “In view of the evolving global scenario with the emergence of new forms of Corona, the situation is being closely monitored in consultation with all the stakeholders, and the resumption of scheduled commercial international passenger services.” An appropriate decision indicating the effective date of the said date will be notified in due course.
Let us inform you that last month the government had decided to resume the normal operation of international flights. Significantly, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the operation of normal international flights to and from India has been suspended since March 2020.
