Indore: After the case of ragging came to light in Government Mahatma Gandhi Smriti Medical College, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, the police started investigating this case closely. Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra says that some accused students have been detained in the case of ragging. Police have arrested 6 students who harassed junior students in the name of ragging. At the same time, fearing arrest, 4 students disappeared after taking leave, and police are looking for them.

In fact, after a complaint received from the anti-ragging application of MGM Medical College in the Sanyogitaganj police station area, the police registered a case against unknown students where seniors were ragging junior students. In the investigation of the police in the ragging case, the names of 10 such students came to the fore who were harassing the juniors by ragging.

Police took major action in a ragging case
Police have identified the accused students and detained 6 students including senior students Prem Tripathi, Rishabh Raj, Rahul Patel, Ujjwal Pandey, Ronak Patidar, Prabhat Singh, Krapranshu Singh, Chetan Verma, and 2 other students. At the same time, due to fear of arrest, 4 students have disappeared after taking leave, and their police team is looking for them. Now the police will soon present a challan in the court in this matter. At the same time, in the matter of ragging the students, the information of the students has also been given by writing a letter to the MGM Medical Dean.

11 senior students were suspended for 3 months
11 senior students of the MBBS course were suspended from the institute for three months in connection with ragging in Government Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore. A top official of the college has given this information. Dean of the college Dr. Sanjay Dixit told that after the police investigation in the case of ragging, 11 senior students identified have been suspended from the college with immediate effect. They will also not be allowed to stay in the hostel of the Institute during this period. He told that these 11 students of the MBBS course were found involved in ragging during the police investigation. After this, the anti-ragging committee of the college decided to take disciplinary action against them.
