New Delhi: The meaning of showman in Bollywood, late producer-director Raj Cooper. He gave Hindi cinema many memorable films like Shree 420, Bobby, and Satyam Shivam Sundaram. In many films, he also won the hearts of people through acting. A heritage of the same Raj Kapoor has been bought by the legendary real estate company Godrej Properties. Godrej has bought a bungalow of Raj Kapoor located in the Chembur area of Mumbai. The company plans to develop a luxury residential project at this site.
The company told the stock market that this land has been bought from the Kapoor family, the legal heirs of Raj Kapoor. Pirojsha Godrej, executive chairman of Godrej Properties, told PTI-Bhasha, “The total size of the land is about one acre. We will develop a premium residential project on this plot.” He did not disclose the value of the deal citing confidentiality. However, he definitely said that an income of Rs 500 crore can be obtained from this property. Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director, and CEO, of Godrej Properties, said, “We are delighted to add this prestigious project to our portfolio and are grateful to the Kapoor family for giving us this opportunity.
How much is the circle rate
This studio is present near the campus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Anuj Puri, chairman of real estate consultant Anarock, told PTI, “The market value of one acre of land in Chembur will be Rs 100-110 crore. Chembur is a prime residential market well connected to BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex).” Be aware that this is only the rate of the land. Earlier in 2019, Godrej also acquired RK Studios. This project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Commenting on the deal, film actor Randhir Kapoor, son of the late Raj Kapoor, said, “This residential property in Chembur has held great emotional and historical significance for our family. We are delighted to be associated with Godrej Properties once again.” Raj Kapoor lived in this bungalow till his death in 1988. After him, his wife Krishna Raj Kapoor lived here till her death in 2018.
