Washington: Jill Biden, wife of Joe Biden, the newly elected President of the United States of America, replaced Garima Verma of Indian Origin with Digital Director and Michael Larosa in his office Has been nominated as press secretary.
Jill Biden will be America’s First Lady after Biden takes charge as President on January 20. The newly elected president also announced additional members in the First Lady’s office and nominated Rory Brosius as the new executive director of the ‘Joining Forces’ initiative.
Garima grew up in Ohio and the Central Valley of Ohio and California and was born in India. Garima was also a part of Biden-Harris’s Election Campaign. Prior to this, she has been a part of the entertainment world. She has worked for marketing films at Paramount Pictures and television programs at Walt Disney Company’s ABC Network.
He has also worked with media agency Horizon Media. Verma has served as an independent consultant in marketing, design and digital for many small businesses and nonprofits. The team said that Larosa was the press secretary and chief spokesperson of Dr. Jill Biden, who was involved in campaigning during the presidential election in the US and now part of the Biden-Harris team.
Larosa was the Director of Communications for the House Democratic Policy Communications Committee in the office of Nancy Pelosi. Others who have been nominated include Gina Lee, Vanessa Lyon and Jordan Montoya.
Jill Biden said, “With their diverse backgrounds, these dedicated and skilled public servants will be committed to building an administration that will support the development of the American people.” Biden’s team said that these skilled and experienced people would work with Dr. Jill Biden and play an important role in the functioning of his office.
