New Delhi: A very dangerous sight, a warship is visible in the eastern sea area of the country. Immediately the dangerous Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jet of the Indian Air Force locked this target. Simultaneously, Sukhoi fired its supersonic cruise missile BrahMos on him. This deafening missile collided with a warship while crossing in a few seconds at a speed of 3000 kilometers per hour. A huge hole was created in the ship by the missile attack. The hole is so big that the ship can easily be completely submerged in water.
This was not a real attack on friends. Yes, in fact, the Indian Air Force had fired live from the BrahMos missile on the Indian Navy’s decommissioned warship from the Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter jet on the east coast of the country. This unsurpassed missile attacked its target with complete accuracy. The Navy along with the Air Force was equally involved in this intense test.
However, the Air Force did not tell at all that type, how much weight and how much power warhead was installed in the BrahMos missile. However, it is estimated that a warhead of lesser volume and intensity was employed for the test. But still, according to that the amount of damage done to the ship is very big. Imagine what would have happened if the warhead’s intensity and weight had been increased.
Let us inform you that about a week ago it was reported that the upgraded air version of BrahMos Cruise Missile for the Indian Air Force is also being ready in full swing. Its range will be 800KM. That is, it is assumed that our fighter jets can destroy enemy positions from such a distance while in the air.
In this regard, the Air Force said in a tweet, “IAF test-fired BrahMos missile from Sukhoi 30 MKI aircraft on the Eastern Seaboard. The missile hit the decommissioned ship of the Indian Navy directly under the target. The test took place in close coordination with the Indian Navy. ,
Significantly, the Government of India is continuously increasing the range of its tactical missiles. With just one software upgrade, the missile’s range increases by 500KM. However, the Indian Air Force has deployed BrahMos cruise missiles on 40 Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter jets. They can completely destroy and clear enemy camps.
Let us know that on 8 December 2021, the air version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile was successfully test-fired in Sukhoi-30 MK-1. Let us know that the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile fitted in the Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter jet has been completely developed and manufactured indigenously. According to estimates and sources, there are big plans to deploy BrahMos missiles in Mikoyan MiG-29K, Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, and Rafale in the future as well.
For information, let us tell you that the BrahMos missile flies at a speed of Mach 2.8 or about three times the speed of sound. At the same time, the range of the advanced version of this missile has increased from 290 km earlier to about 350 km.
