New Delhi: India conducted a successful pilot flight test of indigenously developed ‘hypersonic technology demonstrator vehicle’ (HSTDV) on Monday which is expected to strengthen the long-range missile system and air defense system in future. Officials gave this information.
HSTDV is developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) based on hypersonic propulsion technology. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO on the successful pilot flight of HSTDV and termed it a “significant achievement”. He tweeted, “I congratulate DRDO on this important achievement towards the vision of Prime Minister of self-reliant India. I spoke to the scientists associated with the project and congratulated them on this great achievement. “
