Mumbai: The horror-comedy starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao has taken the box office by storm. It earned a whopping ₹60 crore on its opening day and continued its magic, reaching a total collection of ₹290.85 crore. With a solo release on Independence Day, Stree 2 shattered records and emerged as the biggest Hindi hit of the year.

Khel Khel Mein: Akshay Kumar’s film, centered around friendship, had a decent start with ₹5 crore on day one. However, it struggled to maintain momentum, earning ₹95 lakhs on Thursday. The total collection stands at ₹19.3 crores.

Veda: John Abraham’s action-packed film opened with ₹6.30 crores but faced challenges. Despite his tremendous action sequences and Sharvari’s captivating performance, Veda collected ₹53 lakhs on Thursday, reaching a total of ₹17.53 crores.

Tangalan: South actor Chiyaan Vikram’s film, Tangalan, made an impressive ₹13.30 crore on its first day. However, it slowed down slightly, earning ₹1.27 crore on Thursday. The film’s gross collection now stands at ₹38.72 crore.

Double Ismart: The sequel to Ismart Shankar, starring Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt, had a modest Thursday collection of ₹32 lakhs. The film’s gross total is ₹14.22 crore.

Mr. Bachchan: Actor Ravi Tej and Bhagyashree Borse’s film, Mr. Bachchan, made a decent start with ₹24 lakhs on Thursday. The total collection stands at ₹9.89 crores.

While Stree 2 dominates, Khel Khel Mein and Veda face an uphill battle. Stree 2’s trendsetting writing, surprising cameos, and the supernatural universe have made it a runaway success. As the extended weekend continues, we expect more magic at the box office.
