New Delhi: In some parts of the country, these days once again, new cases of coronavirus infection are showing a spurt. Of these, the maximum number of new cases are being seen in Kerala. In such a situation, the government is trying to adopt a strategy of doing more and more corona testing, so that the corona patients can be identified soon. Meanwhile, if we look at the data, it is found that even though more new cases of corona infection are being reported in Kerala, but in terms of testing, Kerala is also in the first place. These figures are based on per lakh population.

Kerala is doing better work in the field of corona testing. According to an average of seven days in Kerala, 4587 tests were conducted per million population. This is the highest among all the states. Whereas in Rajasthan this figure is 378 per million. Along with this, in West Bengal, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat also this figure is below 1000 per million population.

In most of the big states, the figure of test per million population is below 3000. In Assam, it is 3563 and in Delhi, it is 3336. If we talk about the states with less population, then the average corona testing rate of seven days in Mizoram on 1st August is 4916 per million population. It is slightly higher than Kerala.

These figures also show that in the states where the corona testing rate has been high earlier, it has also reduced now. At the same time, in the first week of June, corona testing was being done more in some states. More corona testing is now being done in most states than before the second wave.

Talking about 14 big states, their current average is below 2000 tests per million population. The average rate of corona testing in the other five states is below 1000. In Bihar, it is 1196 and in Uttar Pradesh, it is 1052.
