New Delhi: A big news is coming from Amritsar of Punjab. A fire broke out in Guru Nanak Dev Hospital here. It is being told that the fire broke out in the hospital due to the explosion in the transformer. As soon as the fire broke out in the hospital, there was chaos all around and the patients started running on the streets. In view of the fire spreading inside the hospital, more than 600 patients had to be evacuated in a hurry.
On getting information about the fire, the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control. As of now, it is a matter of relief that no casualty has been reported so far in this incident. All patients are completely safe.
Giving information about the incident, fire brigade officer Lovepreet Singh said that first the fire started in the transformer and then in the hospital. He said that as soon as the information was received, eight fire tenders reached the spot and the fire has been brought under control. He said that there was no report of any casualty in this.
