New Delhi: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is going to launch the first satellite of this year at 5.59 am on 14 February i.e. Valentine’s Day. This satellite will be launched through the most reliable rocket PSLV-C52. The PSLV-C52 rocket is being prepared at the launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.
Almost all the preparations for launching the first satellite of the year have been completed. The launch countdown will be started 25 hours 30 minutes in advance, while the process of launching the satellite will start at 4.29 am. ISRO had told about its planning in the year 2021 that, it will launch the EOS-4 / RISAT-1A satellite in July 2021 through the PSLV-C52 rocket. It is a microwave remote sensing satellite.
But due to the Corona epidemic, the launch of the satellite was continuously postponed. However, now ISRO has fixed the launch date. Two more satellites are also going with this satellite – first INSPIREsat-1 built by the students of the Indian Institute of Science and Technology and second India-Bhutan Joint Satellite INS-2B.
ISRO itself has given information about this by tweeting. He wrote in the post, “Now it’s official!! PSLVC52 is set to orbit the Sun 529 km away on February 14 at 5:59 am carrying the EOS-04 Radar Imaging Satellite and 2 other small satellites!”
RISAT-1A is a radar imaging satellite used exclusively for surveillance. In this way, the satellite is positioned at an altitude of 529 km from the earth.
