Meaning, in just four months, the corona cases have doubled.
Over 3400 deaths in 24 hours:

At the same time, according to the data of the Worldometer, the total number of corona infected has reached 2 crores 2 lakh 75 thousand 543, which is 17.13% of the total cases of infection. While the death toll has increased to 2 lakh 22 thousand 666. In the country where there were a record 4,01,993 new cases of infection on May 01, there were 3,92,488 cases on May 2. Thus, the number of active corona patients has increased to 34,44,548 in the country.
Ministry of Health expressed concern:
Meanwhile, Joint Secretary of the Union Health Ministry Luv Aggarwal said that it is a matter of some concern that cases of corona are still increasing in 23 states and union territories. He said that now the number of active patients in the 12 states of the country is more than one lakh. Whereas in 7 states it is between 50 thousand to one lakh.
India became the third-highest death country in the world:
The most important thing is that India has now occupied third place in the world in terms of maximum deaths due to coronavirus. Gautralab has said that so far, the highest in America is 5.92 lakh, in Brazil, 4.04 lakh people have died due to corona. After this, India is where the coronavirus has killed 2.18 lakh people so far.
