New Delhi: The severe cyclonic storm Tauktae Cyclone hit the coast of Gujarat (Gujarat) at around 8 pm on Monday night. It collided with the coast between Diu and Una in Saurashtra. After this, the process ended at 12 midnight. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), so far no death has been reported in it. Two lakh people were evacuated to safer places even before the storm by the state government.

At the time of the storm, the wind was moving at a speed of 185 kilometers per hour. The IMD said that winds struck at a speed of 133 km per hour in the Union Territory of Diu during the night when the cyclone struck at around 9:30 pm. In a tweet made by IMD, it has been told that the Toute storm has now turned into a very severe cyclonic storm. Earlier it was in a very serious category.

At the same time, during this cyclonic storm in Maharashtra, Diu and Gujarat, people have also recorded videos and photos on their cameras, which are surfacing on social media.

While heavy rains continued in Mumbai, more than 12,000 citizens were shifted from coastal areas to safer places. These include 8,380 in Raigad district, 3,896 in Ratnagiri and 144 people in Sindhudurg district.
