Beijing: China has once again put its hand on India’s ache on the pretext of the Winter Olympics, which is formally starting from Friday, 4 February. Along with this, he has also given a message to the world in his own way. According to the information, the torch rally for the Winter Olympics to be held in Beijing has started on Wednesday, February 2. To hold the torch in this, the Chinese government has selected the soldiers of its People’s Liberation Army (PLA) who fought with Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh.
According to China’s official newspaper ‘Global Times’, Wang Mang, a four-time champion in the short track speed skating event, has handed over the Winter Olympics torch to Qi Fabao. Fabao heads a regiment of the PLA’s Xinjiang Military Command. He had suffered a serious head injury during a violent clash with Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley.
The first major bloody conflict between India and China after 1962 was in Galwan
Let us remind you that the confrontation between the soldiers of India and China started on 5 May 2020 in Eastern Ladakh. The following month, on June 15, hundreds of Chinese soldiers attacked Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley with barbed wire poles and other similar weapons. During this, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred while fighting bravely. While according to the Russian news agency Tas (TASS), about 45 Chinese soldiers were also killed. Although China did not disclose its slain soldiers at first. Then after a long time, the number of his martyred soldiers was told only 5. This was the first major bloody conflict between India and China after the 1962 India-China War.
China’s propaganda machinery also released a video
China’s propaganda machinery has also put a video on its Twitter-like social media platform Sina Weibo. In this video posted on February 1 to mark the beginning of the Chinese New Year, some Chinese soldiers are seen hoisting the Chinese flag at someplace around Ladakh. It has been described as Eastern Ladakh. Also, users have been urged to broadcast this video as much as possible. Apart from this, it has also been announced that any 10 users from among the broadcasters of the video will be chosen as the winner. He will be given stones of the Ladakh area as a memento.
After all, what message does China want to convey?
It is clear that in both these ways, China wants to strengthen its illegal claim on Ladakh. Wishes to get maximum support for him. It may be mentioned here that the Ladakh dispute between India and China is not yet resolved. Even after 14 rounds of military and diplomatic talks, no solution has been found so far regarding the right to some areas of dispute on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). For this reason, more than 50-50 thousand soldiers on both sides are standing in a ready position for war with modern weapons.
